Uncle TreY shares new cinematic song titled “Lately”

The Bronx, NY-based rapper Uncle Trey pens a reminder for those who may not be privy in his new song “Lately”. Bolstered by Young Devante‘s cinematic production and the use of the classic dialogue in the Good Fellas movie between Tommy and Billy Batts, Uncle Trey gets candid with her pen and reminds listeners that he is a new person and not to be confused with his old self. Lines like “Call me maestro, I orchestrate a hit where the music or the opps or referring to your bitch/Lot of y’all can’t talk like that/Lied ’bout how you run it, quite walk right back” sum it up and gives listeners a glimpse into his state of mind.

“Lately”  is a song off his album Don’t Ask About This Later.
