North-London-born R&B vocalist Sinead Harnett returns today with her latest song “Take Me Away”. Teaming up with EARTHGANG, the balmy track is taken from her upcoming sophomore album, set to release in early 2021.
On the heel of her track “Stickin” with Masego and VanJess, “Take Me Away” is a smooth song that sits atop serene guitar strums and a sanguine instrumental. Straying away from her sultry and smooth usual, this track gives a more upbeat and bubbly sound. Produced by GRADES, Harnett’s powerhouse vocals make “Take Me Away” a short and sweet escape. Leaning on support from EARTHGANG, Johnny Venus of the unorthodox duo closes out the track with a couple of verses. Accompanying her new single is the Black Lives Matter movement-inspired visual. The video ends with empowering reflections from each of the cast members.
With a handful of singles and features in her pocket, Sinead Harnett is ready to take on her sophomore album. Following up on her 2019 debut Lessons in Love, the new album will be a fresh start for the artist. After leaving a lot on the track for her debut, there’s a lot more for her to explore in-store.
